Check after connecting

Work through these in order. Each line is something you can observe, not a feeling.

  • 1MosVPN reads Connected.
  • 2Your public IP has changed.
  • 3An ordinary website still opens.
  • 4The app you need works.
  • 5The connection holds after a few minutes or a locked screen.

The VPN badge only says the system created a tunnel. Check the IP and run a real task to confirm where your traffic goes.

If it will not connect

Answer the first question before anything else. Change one thing at a time so you know what worked.

Turn MosVPN off. Does the internet work normally?

  • No

Fix Wi-Fi or mobile data first. MosVPN cannot work while the underlying network is down.

  • Yes

Close other VPN apps, turn on automatic date and time, reopen MosVPN and try connecting once more.

MosVPN says connected but the IP has not changed?

Check the system VPN permission, disconnect and reconnect, then restart the app.

The IP changed but only one app fails?

Close and reopen that app, check its network permission, and try the web version if there is one.

Still stuck?

Message support and include these four details so nobody has to ask twice.

  • Device model and system version
  • Whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data
  • The server you selected and when the error happened
  • A screenshot of the error with personal data hidden

Never send passwords, one-time codes or card details.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same installer on every device?

No. iOS uses TestFlight, Android uses Google Play or the official APK, Windows uses an .exe and macOS uses a .dmg.

Why does the system ask for VPN permission?

The client needs operating-system approval to create a VPN interface or configuration. Confirm that MosVPN is the app making the expected request.

How can I confirm the installation worked?

Compare the public IP before and after connecting, then open ordinary sites and the specific service you need.

What should I test when MosVPN works on Wi-Fi but not mobile data?

Verify the mobile connection without a VPN, then repeat the same configuration and task. Note the network type and the time and share them with support rather than changing several settings at once.

What information must never be sent to support?

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full card details or private configuration keys. Redact personal notifications from screenshots.
